Raissa is a holder of an LLB (with honours) from the prestigious University of Buea, having graduated amongst the top 1% of her batch.
Raissa joined Dayspring Law Firm in June of 2023 after completing her Bachelors degree in law at the University of Buea. She joined our business law department where she assists partners with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- Providing legal advice to business owners on issues that affect businesses, such as taxation, business transactions, and intellectual property rights.
- researching case law,
- drafting commercial contracts,
- preparing and filing applications for company registration,
- Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to business operations,
- Prosecuting foreign direct investment files,
- Review and revise legal documents, contracts, and forms, and draft documents as needed
- Draft and negotiate contract or agreement terms,
- Perform initial and ongoing due diligence,
- Review and approve contracts,
- Represent clients during business meetings and in negotiations,
- Assist with conflict resolution.
Raissa is bold, diligent, hardworking and ethical. She has excellent legal writing and drafting skills and has a peculiar attention for details.
